A little background
Our Story
This page is the long version — the meetings, the miles, and the ordinary days that somehow became a wedding weekend at Jeffers Hill Farm. Each photograph sits under the chapter it belongs to, with the frame held open until the picture is chosen.
Chapter one
How we met
Our first meeting was February, 2020 and it went almost exactly how you'd imagine for 2 young, broke college students. Pizza, Mall Window Shopping, and a whole bunch of questions regarding how we envisioned our future. Connor losing his car in Mall parking lot, taking more than 30 minutes to find it, he was sure he was not going to get a second date. But somehow, someway Geri said yes. The night ended no different that most nights today.... with ice cream!!!
Little did we know, we would be stuck to each others hip, physically for the next month, then digitally as COVID sent us home for the following 6 months before we could see each other again on a regular basis.Photo

Chapter two
The years in between
The middle of a love story is rarely one moment. It is apartments, long drives, borrowed jackets, and the friends who watched it all take root. This section will gather a handful of those years so guests who have known only part of the timeline can see the rest.
The photographs for this chapter sit together underneath the writing: one wider frame for a place, and two smaller ones for the people and rooms that held us in the meantime.
A later paragraph can hold a lighter beat: a tradition that started by accident, a season that tested us, or the first time New Hampshire felt like a place to return to. The farm in Pike is the destination; this is the road that leads there.

Chapter three
The question
On December 27, 2024, I had a stomachache—not from a bug, a cold, or any other usual culprit, but from working up the courage to ask Geri’s father for his youngest daughter’s hand in marriage. After nearly two days of waiting for the right moment, he finally asked and received his blessing
With the blessing secured, it was time for the surprisingly open yet covert mission we called “Build-Her-Ring.” In early January, I took time off for supposed “thrifting excursions” and “phone repairs” in Connecticut. Despite those questionable excuses, the plan worked, and I picked up the ring on March 28, 2025!
Fast-forward to June 7, when we were staying in a tiny home in upstate New York. Our morning began with the smoke alarm blaring while we were still in bed. Fearing carbon monoxide, we called 911 and expected one vehicle and an investigator. Instead, two fire engines and a Tahoe arrived. Nothing was wrong, but because the crews struggled to reach the house, the owners were fined for insufficient driveway access.
Rain washed out most of the weekend—and my original proposal plans—so I had to improvise. When marriage came up in conversation, I joked, “I’ll propose to you right now.” Geri replied, “Well, do it then.” Connor went to the kitchen to “grab some water,” returned to the living room, got down on one knee, and asked the question. If she was holding something it would have ended up on the floor due to shock of surprise.
Until those pictures are chosen, the empty frames hold the proportion — a portrait close enough to see a face, and a smaller square for whatever followed.
