The town that Pike belongs to, with the widest nearby mix of homes and cottages. Start here if Pike itself is thin.

Woodsville

Less than 15 minutes

The closest village with groceries, restaurants, and more house rentals. A practical base if you want shops in the morning.

Piermont

South along the river · about 15–20 minutes

A quiet river town with cottages and houses. Listings here often sit between the Connecticut River and the hills.

Orford

Farther south · about 20–25 minutes

Another river town with a deeper bench of whole-house rentals if the closer villages are already taken.

What should we wear?

Garden formal. Summer suits, and midi or long dresses. The ceremony is on grass and the barn has a wood floor, so block heels or flats will treat you better than stilettos. June evenings in the White Mountains cool off quickly — bring a layer for after dark.

Can we bring our kids?

Children are welcome. List them with your party on the RSVP so we can plan seats and food, and tell us their ages if they need something simpler at dinner.

What happens if it rains?

The celebration goes on. The renovated 1840s barn holds everyone, so the ceremony moves under cover and dinner and dancing are inside regardless. We will make the call the morning of — you only need a jacket.

Where do we park?

On the farm, at no cost. Follow Jeffers Hill Road to the property and look for signs directing cars. The lot is a short walk from the ceremony lawn.

How do we get there, and is there a shuttle?

Plan to drive. Pike is rural and the last stretch of road is slow, so add time and please sort out a designated driver for the ride home. If we arrange a shuttle from any of the inns, we will post it here.

Will I have cell service?

Not reliably. Download directions before you leave town, and save the farm address — 325 Jeffers Hill Road, Pike, NH 03780 — somewhere you can reach offline.

When should we RSVP by?

As soon as you know. One reply per household on the RSVP page covers your whole party, and you can write to us if your plans change later.

What time does the night end?

Late enough for dancing. We hope to finish with sparklers at the barn doors and a campfire on the grounds if the sky is clear. Exact hours go up here once the final timeline is set.
